|When we think of the seas around Antarctica and the Arctic, we may think of desolate places with ice-covered land where water freezes over in subzero temperatures. Well, the freezing over part is true. But icy seas, found in the coldest places on earth, are filled with a variety of animals, plants and fish, which have all adapted to live in and around freezing ocean waters. Plant life includes small (plankton) and large (sea weed) species.|
